Giovanna Di Cataldo Giovanna Di Cataldo

As a native Venetian, I have always had almost a need for art around me, and, I think I can say, also a good sense of aesthetics. While studying Classics, I have always been painting, drawing, writing and experimenting with different media. At the time to join University, I came to England to study Graphic Design, with the intent of focusing my creativity on communication.

My interests are incredibly broad….I'd say that everything interests me as long as it stimulates me. To give some examples, I regularly go to the pictures, gigs, exhibition, read books and papers….I follow politics and read poetry…and then try to make all this come through in my work!

As a designer, my style is very much orientated toward Illustration and Fashion. I recently worked as an illustrator at the Observer newspaper, designing the Cash covers, and collaborate with Shona Heath as a set designer for fashion shoots.

At present, apart from Art and Music, I am a visiting lecturer at Knowsley College of Art, and am collaborating to the European project www bigpicturenetwork.net.

Ian Coutney Ian Coutney

Ian studied Fine Art at The Surrey Institute of Art & Design before working in the film & T.V. industry building and designing sets and props. Switching to making Pop Art was a natural progression due to Ian's passion in the creative field.

"I've always enjoyed painting and drawing, with my style leaning towards a mix of realism and Impressionism. This was something at Art College, which was not appreciated nor encouraged, but I have found extremely useful and pleasing with the Pop Art productions I have done so far. I like to capture something of the band and the album, and produce a piece of art encompassing all elements, rather than just a background for an album and record."

John Keates John Keates

I am an artist living in England. I started drawing and painting from an early age and picked up my grandfathers oil paints at the age of fourteen. I have also had a long standing interest in art and I started making art with computers at the age of ten. I studies fine art at Coventry university and since leaving have exhibited work whilst painting and learning computer animation. I can bring a unique vision to a project and continue to develop my art whilst honing skills which can be used for more commercial work.

Karina Regazzacci Karina Regazzacci

"Born into an artistic family, Karina Regazzacci has always had a passion for colour. Her Corsican father and half Dutch half English mother, both have backgrounds in design. This took them to live in Morocco in the 1980's, where as a child, Karina started to cultivate her love of vibrant colour and fascination of all things ethnic.

As a child Karina was always sketching and drawing and eventually went on to study for her BA(hons) @ Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design. Graduating in Fashion Design in 2002, she received a first for main study.

Living and working around Camden Town since 1998, she fuelled her interest in Alternative Fashion. This, coupled with her incredibly self motivated personality and level of determination, meant it was only natural that Karina would start up her own fashion label. She now has a shop in the Stables Market, Camden from where she sells her label. See "www.coconut-hut.co.uk" and "www.regazzacci.com".

Scott Tierney Scott Tierney

I am 22 and I’m based in the town of Arlesey in Bedfordshire. I have been working as an Artist / illustrator for the past two years and I also work in the field of cartooning.

I like to experiment with different materials in my pieces to find the best colour and texture for each individual piece. I use spray paints often because I think they give a soft and hazy look to the work which stands out, but doesn’t distract from the album cover itself.

I ‘m a big R.E.M fan, though my taste in music changes from day to day. I like the work of Morrissey and Bowie, but I’m also a lover of Roy Orbison. My top album of all time is The Beatles Abbey Road.
